What are we about
AWC seeks to engage women at all stages in their graduate careers. AWC aims to provide an avenue for addressing the social, political, and academic concerns of women in chemistry. In addition to fostering community and discussion on important issues, AWC places an emphasis on sponsoring professional development activities to support and ensure the success and satisfaction of Northwestern women during their time at Northwestern and in future professional endeavors.

Upcoming Events
WELCOME MIXER
September 24, 2-3pm
Ryan Hall 4th floor
First-year women are invited to join AWC for our annual welcome event, an opportunity to meet women faculty, staff, post-docs, and graduate students in the department. Coffee, tea and light snacks will be provided.
Keep a look out for our monthly socials! This fall, AWC will be holding coffee hours each month. Some of these socials will be centered around discussions of articles or other newsworthy topics relating to women in STEM; others will be more informal, and a chance to socialize with people in the department. We hope to see you there!
